Fairfield University announced the lineup of its 2012-13 Open Vision Forum lecture series, which runs from mid-September through late April as part of the school's Arts and Minds program.
The series, to be conducted in the school's Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts, 1073 N. Benson Road, will begin Wednesday, Sept. 19, with Lesley Stahl, broadcast journalist and co-editor of "60 Minutes." She will present "Inside 60 Minutes," during which she will discuss her professional and personal life as one of the first female television reporters.
The series will continue with talks by Dana Perino and Donna Brazile, two Washington insiders, on Monday, Oct. 1; Kati Marton, a writer on human rights advocacy, on Monday, Nov. 12; and New York magazine columnist Fran Lebowitz on Monday, Jan. 28. Later talks will feature Barry Lewis, a New York architectural historian, on Monday, Feb. 11; art crime professor Noah Charney on Sunday, March 24; and astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson on Monday, April 22.
