Dr. M. Clive Robinson, of Fairfield, chief of cardiothoracic surgery at Bridgeport Hospital was recently honored by the hospital foundation's Honor Your Caregiver Program.

He was recognized for being one of New England's first doctors to perform hybrid ablation for atrial fibrillation, a procedure combining catheter-based techniques and minimally invasive surgery to treat the most common type of heart rhythm disorder, according to a hospital news release.
