Fairfield forecast: A cloud or two on the horizon

Today's clear morning skies may cloud over a bit by afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
The daytime high temperature in southwestern Connecticut is expected to rise to the mid-40s, with a west wind 6 to 11 mph.
Tonight should mostly clear, with a low temperature about 30 degrees and a west wind 5 to 9 mph.
Tomorrow is expected to be partly sunny, with a high temperature in the low-40s. Nighttime brings a slight chance of rain. Cloudy, with a low temperature in the mid-30s. Chance of precipitation is about 20 percent, the NWS says.
On Saturday, skies turn mostly cloudy, with a 30 percent chance of rain and a high temperature in the mid-40s. There remains a slight chance of rain Saturday night as temperatures dip to a low in the upper-30s. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Sunday is expected to be partly sunny and warmer, with a high temperature in the low-50s. There is a chance of showers by nighttime with a low in the low-40s. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent, the NWS says.
Monday should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-50s. Nighttime will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature about 40 degrees.
The outlook for Tuesday, according to the weather service, is mostly cloudy and temperatures in the mid-50s.
