Sunny and warm conditions that have prevailed across southwestern Connecticut over the last several days will continue this Columbus Day

The National Weather Service says today's daytime high temperature will reach the low-80s, with a north wind between 5 and 8 mph.

Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low around 58 degrees.

Tomorrow will also be sunny, the NWS says, but cooler with a high temperature of about 73 degrees. There will be an east wind between 7 and 10 mph. Clouds will start moving in tomorrow night, with a low around 57 degrees.

By Wednesday, there is a chance of rain after noon. Skies will be cloudy, with a high near 67. Rain is expected Wednesday night as the temperature dips to the mid-50s.

Rain is also likely Thursday, with cloudy skies and a daytime high temperature in the upper-60s, the weather service predicts.
