Fairfield forecast: A weekend break in April showers

The forecast for today and tomorrow promises a fairly bright weekend, according to the National Weather Service, before April showers again fall across southwestern Connnecticut early next week.
Today should be sunny, with a high temperature in the low 50s. It will be breezy, with a west wind between 14 and 21 mph.
Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 34 degrees, the NWS says. A northwest wind will be between 14 and 17 mph.
Tomorrow will also be sunny, with a daytime high near 52 degrees. It will again be breezy, with a northwest wind between 17 and 21 mph.
But the clear spell is expected to end overnight, with rain likely to move in early Monday as clouds increase the temperature falls to a low of about 40 degrees.
Monday will be rainly, the weather service predicts, mainly before 3 p.m. It will be cloudy, with a high near 47 degrees, with a southeast wind between 13 and 15 mph.
