Clouds and brisk breezes linger this morning in the aftermath of last night's fierce rain-and-wind storm that rocked southwestern Connecticut, but there will be a gradual clearing trend.

Tomorrow will be sunny, with a high temperature near 70 degrees. Nighttime will be mostly clear, with a low temperature about 50 degrees.

Friday also is expected to be sunny, with a high temperature in the low-70s. Partly cloudy conditions move in Friday night, with a low temperature in the upper-50s.

Saturday should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-70s. Nighttime brings a chance of showers, with the low temperature about 60 degrees.

The outlook for Sunday, according to the weather service, is mostly cloudy skies and temperatures reaching about 70 degrees.
