Fairfield forecast: Clear & cold again

The second day of the new year, like the first, will be partly sunny and cold, according to the National Weather Service.
The daytime high temperature today will rise only to the freezing mark in southwestern Connecticut, with a west wind 9 to 14 mph.
Tonight should be mostly clear, with the temperature dipping to the mid-teens and a northwest wind around 9 mph.
Tomorrow will be sunny, with a high temperature in the low-30s. Nighttime will be mostly cloudy with a low temperature about 20 degrees.
Friday should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-30s. Friday night will be mostly clear and a temperature dipping to a low in the low-20s.
Saturday will be sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-30s. Nighttime will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature of about 20 degrees.
Sunday also will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-30s. Sunday night will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the low-20s.
The outlook for Monday, according to the weather service, is sunny and slightly warmer, with temperatures in the upper-30s.
