Skies will be mostly cloudy today across southwestern Connecticut, with the possibility of snow showers through midday, but trending warmer than it has been in weeks.

The daytime high temperature should be about 38 degrees, with a southwest wind between 11 and 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

It will still be cloudy tonight as temperatures drop to the freezing mark. The southwest wind will be clocked around 16 mph.

The temperature tomorrow may climb as high as 46 degrees -- a reading not seen in months. The NWS predicts that skies should be partly sunny, with a west wind between 18 and 20 mph. Gusts could be as high as 38 mph. Overnight, the temperature is expected to fall into the mid-20s.

Tuesday will be sunny, with a high near 32. The breeziness will persist, with a north wind between 14 and 22 mph. Gusts could be as high as 33 mph.

It should be sunny and warmer on Wednesday, with a high near 43.
