Today marks the first day of a clear, cool stretch of weather in southwestern Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service.

Conditions today will be mostly sunny, the NWS says, with a daytime high temperature of about 61 degrees. There will be a west wind between 10 and 14 mph.

Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 43 degrees and a west wind between 6 and 8 mph.

Tomorrow will be sunny, with a high near 60 degrees and a west wind between 5 and 9 mph. Nighttime skies should be clear as the temperature dips to a low in the low-40s.

Sunday will also be sunny, with a high temperature in the low-60s. There will be a north wind around 5 mph, later becoming calm.

Clouds are expected to move in Monday, the weather service predicts, with temperatures about 60 degrees.
