Fairfield forecast: Gray skies are going to clear up

It's another foggy, drizzly morning in southwestern Connecticut, but the National Weather Service says that the gloom will gradually lift and this afternoon will be mostly sunny.
The daytime high temperature will be about 50 degrees, with a northwest wind 6 to 11 mph. Chance of morning precipitation is 60 percent, the NWS says.
Overnight, there is a possibility of rain, mixing with sleet, late and into early Tuesday. The temperature will dip to a low in the low-30s and a north wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
Tomorrow is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high temperature in the low-40s. Nighttime brings a chance of rain, snow and sleet, mainly in the early-morning hours of Wednesday. The low temperature will be about 30 degrees, and the odds of precipitation are about 30 percent.
On Wednesday, rain, snow and are sleet likely before 1 p.m., with a slight chance of rain continuing until 4 p.m. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a high temperature in the upper-30s. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Wednesday night should be partly cloudy, with a low around temperature about 30 degrees.
Thursday will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the low-40s. Skies will be partly cloudy at night, with a low temperature in the low-20s.
The outlook for Friday, the weather service predicts, is mostly sunny and temperatures in the 30s.
