It's almost getting boring.
Today's forecast for southwestern Connecticut is basically the same that it's been all week -- and is expected to be right on through the weekend: clear, sunny skies and warm, comfortable temperatures.
The daytime high temperature today will be about 80 degrees, according to the National Weather Service, with a south wind about 5 mph.
There may be some patchy fog in parts of the region overnight as the temperature dips to the upper-50s. There will be a south wind 3 to 7 mph.
Tomorrow, after patchy fog clears in the morning, should be sunny with a high temperature near 80 degrees. There is a slight chance of showers late tomorrow and early Saturday as the temperature registers a low about 60 degrees.
Saturday also will be sunny with a high temperature in the mid-70s. Nighttime will be mostly clear with a low temperature in the mid-50s.
Sunday will be sunny again, with a high temperature in the mid-70s. Sunday night should be clear with a low temperature in the mid-50s.
The outlook for Monday, according to the weather service, is sunny and temperatures in the mid-70s.
