Fairfield forecast: More light snow on tap

The light, overnight snow could continue periodically this morning, according to the National Weather Service, however little or no additional accumulation is expected.
The daytime temperature is expected to rise to a high of about 30 degrees, with a northeast around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent.
More light snow is likely overnight, as the temperature dips to a low in the low-20s. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half-inch is possible, the NWS says.
Tomorrow, there is again a chance of light snow, mainly before 7 a.m. Skies will be mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high temperature in the upper-30s. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent. Nighttime will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature around 20 degrees.
On Thursday, skies will be mostly cloudy, with a high temperature in the low-30s. Thursday night may being another chance of light of snow, as temperatures dips to the mid-20s. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
On Friday, snow is possible again before noon, with precipitation changing to rain later. The daytime high temperature will be about 40 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. Nighttime brings a 30 percent chance of rain and snow, with a low temperature in the mid-20s.
The outlook for Saturday, according to the weather service, is sunny and temperatures in the 30s.
