After an overcast start early this morning, today is expected to be sunny and warm, according to the National Weather Service.

The daytime high temperature in southwestern Connecticut should rise to about 64 degrees, the NWS says, with a north wind between 11 and 13 mph.

Tonight also should be clear, with a low around 43 degrees. There will be a calm north wind around 9 mph.

Tomorrow will be sunny as well, the NWS predicts, with a high near 60 degrees. Clouds move in tomorrow night as the temperature falls to the low-40s.

The work week starts with a chance of showers Monday, mainly after 2 p.m. Otherwise, the day should be partly sunny, with a high near 58 degrees. There will be a southeast wind between 6 and 10 mph. Showers remain a possibility Monday night as temperatures fall to the mid-40s.

More showers are in the forecast for Tuesday, according to the weather service.
