Today should be another sunny, warm day in southwestern Connecticut, but the pleasant conditions will be coming to an end.

The National Weather Service says clouds will move in tonight, setting the stage for intermittent rain and clouds for the rest of the work week.

Under sunny skies today, however, the daytime high temperature should reach the low-70s. There will be an east wind between 6 and 9 mph.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 54 degrees.

Tomorrow, rain is expected to start falling after noontime. The high temperature will be in the low-60s, with an east wind between 9 and 13 mph. Rain is also in the forecast for tomorrow night, as the temperature falls to the mid-50s.

Thursday will also be showery, primarily before noon. Skies will be cloudy with a high temperature near 72. There will still be a chance of showers Thursday night, as the temperature dips to the high-50s.

Friday could see more precipitation, according to the weather service, with cloudy conditions and a high temperature in the high-60s.
