Spring? It's still officially more than a week away, but temperatures today and the rest of the week in southwestern Connecticut will reach spring-like levels of 60 degrees -- and above.

Today, under sunny skies, the daytime high temperature could reach the mid-60s, according to the National Weather Service. There will be a west wind between 3 and 9 mph.

Showers are likely overnight, under cloudy skies as the temperature falls to upper-40s. There will be a southwest wind between 3 and 6 mph.

There remains a chance of showers tomorrow morning, mainly before 9 a.m. Clouds will clear later in the day as the temperature again rises to the mid-60s. There is a slight chance of showers before 11 p.m. and the overnight low temperature will be about 50 degrees.

On Wednesday, temperatures rising to the mid-60s are in the forecast under sunny skies. Nighttime will be mostly clear, with a low temperature in the low-40s.

The outlook for Thursday, the weather service predicts, is sunny with a high temperature around 60 degrees.
