A sunny, relatively warm day is in store for southwestern Connecticut today, according to the National Weather Service.
The daytime high temperature will rise to the upper-60s under bright skies, with a west wind 6 to 14 mph.
Tonight will be mostly clear and the temperature is expected to dip to a low in the upper-40s. There will be a northwest wind 3 to 6 mph.
Tomorrow, there is a minor chance of showers after midday. Otherwise, the region's cloud cover is expected to increase and temperatures will be in the mid-60s. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent, the NWS says. Showers remain possible tomorrow night with temperatures in the mid-50s. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
On Wednesday, there is still a chance of precipitation. Skies will be cloudy and the temperature will rise to the low-60s. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent, the NWS says. Nighttime will be mostly cloudy, while there is a 20 percent chance of showers. The temperature will dip to a low in the low-50s.
Thursday is expected to be partly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-60s. Nighttime should be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the low-50s.
The outlook for Friday, according to the weather service, is mostly sunny and temperatures about 70 degrees.
