It will be a sunny but fairly cold weekend in southwestern Connecticut, according to the National Weather Service.

Today will be mostly sunny, with a daytime high temperature rising only to the low-40s, the NWS says. There will be a north wind between 6 and 11 mph.

Tonight will be mostly cloudy, with a low temperature tumbling to the low-20s. There will be a north wind around 8 mph.

Tomorrow will also be mostly sunny, with a high temperature inching only slightly above the 32-degree freezing mark. Tomorrow night will be mostly clear, with a low temperature in the mid-20s.

Monday will be mostly sunny and warmer, with a high near 45 degrees.

The outlook for Tuesday, the weather service predicts, is for partly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-40s.
