More of the same.

Blue skies and warm, late-summer temperature are again in store for southwestern Connecticut today -- and right through the weekend.

The National Weather Service says the region's daytime high temperature will be about 80 degrees, with a variable wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight should be clear, although there may be pockets of patchy fog in some sections into the early-morning hours. The nighttime low temperature will be in the mid-50s, with a south wind around 6 mph.

Tomorrow also will be sunny, with a high temperature in the low-80s. Tomorrow night will be mostly clear, with a low temperature in the upper-50s, the NWS says.

Friday continues the streak of nice weather, with sunny skies and a high temperature about 80 degrees. Night skies are expected to be partly cloudy, with a low temperature around 60 degrees.

On Saturday, more sun is expected and the high temperature should be in upper-70s. Nighttime will be mostly clear, with a low temperature about 60 degrees.

The outlook for Sunday remains the same, according to the weather service, with sunshine and temperatures in the mid-70s.
