Fairfield forecast: Sunny day, messy night

Skies will be sunny this morning across southwestern Connecticut, but clouds will move in later, according to the National Weather Service.
The daytime high temperature is expected to rise to about 47 degrees, the NWS says, with a west wind between 6 and 14 mph.
There is a chance of showers tonight, which could mix with light snow after 8 p.m. Precipitation will clear out later as the temperature is expected to fall to a low of about 30 degrees. There will be a southwest wind between 9 to 13 mph, later becoming north, the NWS forecasts.
Tomorrow should be sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-40s. Nighttime will be partly cloudy, with a low in the upper-20s.
On Monday, the Washington's Birthday holiday, skies will be sunny, with a high about 40 degrees. Skies remain clear at night, with a low temperature in the upper-20s.
The outlook for Tuesday, the weather service predicts, is partly sunny with a high in the mid-40s.
