Like a broken record: That's what the weather forecast for southwestern Connecticut sounds like through the weekend and into early next week.

The National Weather Service predicts sunny, warm conditions will prevail every day at least until Monday, without any chance of the storms that erupted periodically over the last few weeks.

Today will have a daytime high temperature in the upper-70s, with a southwest wind 5 to 8 mph. Tonight will be clear, with a low temperature in the mid-50s.

Tomorrow also will be sunny, with a high temperature near 80 degrees. Nighttime will be clear, with a low temperature in the mid-50s.

On Saturday, skies will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the low-80s. Night skies will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the low-60s.

Sunday is expected to be partly sunny, with a high temperature in the low-80s. Sunday night will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the mid-60s.

The outlook for Monday, according to the weather service, is sunny and temperatures in the 80s.
