Fairfield forecast: Sunny, relatively mild

Following the fizzled forecast of overnight precipitation, today will be mostly sunny and temperatures comfortably in the mid-40s, according to the National Weather Service.
In addition to the clear skies across southwestern Connecticut, there will be a northwest wind 5 to 7 mph, becoming southwest in the afternoon.
Tonight is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low temperature in the upper-20s and a light southwest wind.
Tomorrow should be partly sunny, with a high temperature again the in mid-40s. There is a slight chance of snow overnight as the temperature falls to a low of about 30 degrees.
On Saturday, there is a chance of snow before 9 a.m., with a change later to rain showers. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a high temperature near 40 degrees. The odds of precipitation are rated about 40 percent by the NWS.
There remains a slight chance of snow showers Saturday night, with a low temperature about 20 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Sunday will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature about 30 degrees. Nighttime will be mostly clear, with a low temperature about 20 degrees.
The outlook for Monday, the President's Day holiday, is sunny and temperatures in the 30s.
