Fairfield forecast: Sunny & seasonable

The region will enjoy a stretch of sunny days through next week, but the temperature will dip to seasonably chilly levels, according to the National Weather Service.
The daytime high temperature in southwestern Connecticut will rise to the upper-40s, with a north wind 5 to 8 mph, becoming east in the afternoon.
Tonight will be clear with a low temperature in the low-30s. There will be a northeast wind 3 to 6 mph.
Tomorrow will also be sunny with a high temperature in the upper-40s. Nighttime will be partly cloudy, with a low around temperature in the low-30s.
Monday will be mostly sunny, with a high temperature near 50 degrees. Monday night will be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the mid-30s, the NWS says.
Tuesday is expected to be partly sunny, with a high temperature about 50 degrees. Skies at night will be mostly cloudy, with a low temperature around 40 degrees.
The outlook for Wednesday, according to the weather service, is partly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-50s.
