Fairfield forecast: Sunny, warming stretch

Today will be another sunny day in southwestern Connecticut, with temperatures about 40 degrees -- a trend expected to prevail for most of the week.
In addition to clear skies, the National Weather Service says there will be a northwest wind 6 to 11 mph.
Tonight also will be clear, with a low temperature about 25 degrees and a southwest wind around 5 mph after midnight.
Tomorrow also is expected to be sunny, with a high temperature in the low-40s. Nighttime will be mostly clear, with a low temperature in the upper-20s.
Wednesday also will be sunny again with a high temperature about 45 degrees. Wednesday night should be mostly clear, with a low temperature in the low-30s.
Thursday should continue the sunny streak, with temperatures rising to a high in the mid-40s. Nighttime will be mostly cloudy, with a low temperature in the mid-30s.
The outlook for Friday, according to the weather service, is cloudy, temperatures in the 40s and a chance of rain.
