Fairfield forecast: Sunny, warming trend

After nearly two weeks of stormy, cold and generally unpleasant weather, southwestern Connecticut is set to catch a meteorological break with sunny, warming conditions over the next few days.
The National Weather Service says that today will be sunny, with a daytime high temperature in the mid-50s. There will be a northwest wind 11 to 15 mph.
Tonight should be partly cloudy, with a low temperature in the mid-30s and a northwest wind 3 to 7 mph.
Tomorrow is expected to be partly sunny, with a high temperature in the mid-50s. Nighttime will be mostly cloudy, with a low temperature in the low-40s.
Sunday, Veterans Day, should be mostly sunny, with a high temperature in the low-60s. Sunday night will be mostly clear, with a low temperature in the upper-40s.
The outlook for Monday, according to the weather service, is mostly sunny and temperatures in the mid-60s.
