Southwestern Connecticut's skies will be sunny today, according to the National Weather Service.

The high temperature this first day of a nice weekend will rise to the mid-40s, with a north wind between 9 and 18 mph, gusting as high as 30 mph.

Tonight, skies will be partly cloudy, with a low around 30 degrees.

Reminder: Turn clocks ahead one hour tonight as Daylight Savings Time takes effect at 2 a.m. tomorrow.

Tomorrow also will be sunny and warmer, the NWS says. Temperatures should rise to the mid-50s. Tomorrow night should be mostly clear, with a low around 41 degrees.

Monday will be mostly sunny and even warmer, with temperatures reaching into the low-60s. There is a chance of showers late Monday night and early Tuesday. The overnight low temperature will be in the mid-40s.

The outlook for Tuesday, according to the weather services, is for possible morning showers, but clearing later and temperatures rising to about 60 degrees.
