FAIRFIELD — Police charged a town resident with assault and disorderly conduct after he allegedly struggled with family members outside a Roseville Terrace home July 4.

An anonymous witness called 911 and reported an altercation in the front yard, according to police. After Mauro Fanelli was asked to leave his house, he fought with two family members, scratching and biting them, police said.
