A Fencerow Drive father was issued a misdemeanor summons for permitting minors to possess alcohol in a dwelling or on private property after a party for his son Wednesday night.
Police were called to The Ridge just before 10 p.m. Wednesday by the residential compound’s gate attendant, who reported that he saw “numerous” juveniles walking away from the property. When officers arrived they found beer cans and empty beer boxes strewn across the lawn and a strong odor of alcohol in the air, according to the report.
Kenton Clarke, Sr., 63, was cleaning up the backyard and told officers that his son’s party had gotten out of hand, police said.
He was issued the summons and released on a promise to appear July 7 at state Superior Court in Bridgeport.
