FAIRFIELD — Police received four reports of stolen cars since Dec. 31 — three where the cars were unlocked and the keys inside and a fourth from a car dealership.
Paul Miller Nissan reported a 2017 Nissan Murano missing from the Kings Highway East dealership. The vehicle was discovered missing during an inventory audit Dec. 30. The Murano was one of nine delivered to the dealership Nov. 3.
On Dec. 31, residents of Fern Street and Judson Road both reported that their cars — both 2014 Honda Accords — were missing from their driveways. In both cases, the cars were unlocked and the keys inside. Police said that was also the case with a 2009 Acura reported stolen from a Catherine Terrace home on Jan. 2.
