Monthly programs on genealogical research take place at the Pequot Library.

Genealogy Roundtables are held the library's Family and Local History Room on Saturday mornings once a month from 10 a.m. to noon.

The remaining sessions this year are Sept. 13, Oct. 11, Nov. 8 and Dec. 13.

Betty Oderwald and Bill Stansfield help answer genealogy questions and provide sources and strategies for research. Beginners are welcome, according to the library, and experienced family tree researchers share techniques. The program is free.
