Richard and Kari Genovese, of Fairfield, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelsey Ann, to Omid Cyrus Hashemi, son of Michael Ford, of Fairfield, and Ferry Bazargan, of Falls Church, Va., formerly of Fairfield.
The future bride, a graduate of Fairfield Warde High School and Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, is pursuing a master's degree in teacher leadership at Quinnipiac University in Hamden. She is a teacher in Monroe.
The future bridegroom is a graduate of Fairfield Ludlowe High School and Central Connecticut State University. He is a self-employed retail business owner.
