Glenn J. Wolak, 48, of Darien and a former Fairfield resident, died Nov. 30, 2010.
Born March 8, 1962, in Bridgeport, he was the son of Ruth Seguin and Walter Wolak. He grew up in Fairfield, graduated from Ludlowe High School in 1981 and attended Fairfield University. He worked many years in advertising as a production manager at Ben Marketing Group and Austin Lawrence Inc. of Stamford.
He was a member of St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church of Darien. He enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as pursuits as remodeling his home, playing the alto saxophone, painting landscapes, riding his Ducati motorcycle and cruising with his wife in his Camaro.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Lisa R. Wolak of Darien; two daughters, Victoria and Olivia; five brothers, Walter, Greg, Kevin, Jerry and Roger Wolak; two sisters, Marion Simmons and Ruth Carlson, and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, in St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, 374 Middlesex Road, Darien. Burial will follow at St. John's Roman Catholic Cemetery in Darien.
