Police are asking for the public's help in identifying three men who staged an armed robbery at Fairfield County Credit Union, 1515 Black Rock Turnpike, on Monday.
The men fled with cash and, as of Tuesday, remained at large.
Two of the men entered the credit union, and one of them, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, brandished a handgun as they demanded cash from a teller. An undetermined amount of money was handed over and the men fled in a waiting car driven by a third man, wearing a red jacket.
The two robbers inside the credit union spoke with what appeared to be Jamaican or Haitian accents, police were told by credit union employees. No one was hurt during the incident.
Their getaway car was a 1996 blue Buick Century, with four doors and state license plate registration of 136-XYB. Police said the car, which has not been recovered, was stolen on Trumbull Avenue in Bridgeport earlier Monday.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police detectives at 203-254-4800.
