Halloween on hold: Trick-or-treating Nov. 7 in Fairfield

Fairfield power outages and cleanup in the wake of the hurricane two days ago have prompted town officials to announce that today's traditional observance of Halloween is postponed.

Trick-or-treating by Fairfield's little ghosts and gremlins will have to wait a week to get into the spirit of the occasion on Nov. 7.
