Summer may be winding down, but the harvest is rolling in.

For people planning to enjoy the fruits -- and vegetables -- of the Labor Day weekend, there was no more bountiful destination than the Greenfield Hill Farmers Market.

Held every Saturday through the summer and fall, the market offers a range of fresh produce from regional farms. Fresh fare last Saturday featured red seedless watermelons, ripe cantaloupe, sweet corn, hot peppers, onions, Japanese eggplant and more.

Other fare included sea glass jewelry and driftwood designs, as well as a truckload of olive oils and vinegars.

The Greenfield Hill Farmers Market, based in the shopping center at 75 Hillside Road, will take place Saturdays, from 12:30 to 4 p.m., through Oct. 29. For more details, check http://bit.ly/18xBRSD
