Operation Hope's annual fundraiser -- the Heart of Hope Celebration -- will take place Saturday, Feb. 15, at Fairfield University's Bellarmine Museum of Art.

The event, from 5:30 to 8 p.m., will include a wine tasting; entertainment by lyric soprano, Michelle Huneycutt Johnson and pianists, Aymeric Dupre la Tour and Elena Zamolodchikova; and an art show of works on paper by James Abbot McNeill Whistler.

Operation Hope's food pantry provides more than 123,000 meals a year to those in need and its soup kitchen serves hot meals to an average of 45 individuals every day of the year.

Operation Hope also provides shelter for the homeless nightly and operates 46 units of scattered site affordable housing throughout Fairfield.

All proceeds from the Heart of Hope Celebration will benefit Operation Hope of Fairfield. Tickets are $65 per person and $100 per couple.
