Here is a list of services available in Fairfield to help people who still don't have power in the wake Tropical Storm Irene:

POLICE COMMAND POST

The mobile command center will be based in the shopping center at 1975 Black Rock Turnpike, the future home of a ShopRite supermarket. The post is staffed by emergency personnel and volunteers coordinating the distribution of ice donated by the supermarket's owners, the Cingari family, as well as water and flashlights. Distribution is limited to two bags of ice and three one-liter bottles of water daily.
