There was a bright blur of activity Sunday at Jennings Beach as the final day of the Holy Family Parish carnival unfolded under sunny spring skies.

Though scheduled to run over three days, beginning last Friday, the carnival's first night was cancelled because of the threat of rain.

But with fine weather both Saturday and Sunday, crowds packed the shoreline park for fun in the sun over the two days, with proceeds benefiting parish programs.

Organizers worked with Marenna Amusements for the third consecutive year, which provided more than a dozen big rides, like Ali Baba, the Expo Wheel and the big Slide.

Adding to the fun were food stands and all kinds of games.
