FAIRFIELD — Greenfield Hill Grange went green last Saturday night when the spirit of Ireland came to dinner.

Around 50 guests enjoyed a corned beef and cabbage supper at Fairfield Hall, along with a spirited show put on by Irish dancers from the Mulkerin School.

“All together we’ve got 60 shows for this month, most of it being on St. Patrick’s Day,” said director Kathy Carew, of West Haven, who conducts classes and workshops throughout the state with dancers from all over.

“It’s a busy schedule,” she said, “but we have a lot of fun.”
