"From Inside Out," a juried exhibit featuring the works of 22 artists, opens Sunday, Feb. 17, at the Kershner Gallery in the Fairfield Public Library.

The show features pieces that visually explore the artists' experiences, "either personal, artistic, or global with circumstances requiring changes from inside out," the gallery said in a news release.

The theme is in conjunction with the library's OneBook-

OneTown selection for this year, which is "Wonder," by R.J. Palacio.

The book is about a boy with a facial disfigurement and how he handles the ridicule and rejection he receives.

A reception is planned for Saturday, March 2, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The exhibit continues through Saturday, March 23.

The juror is Wendy Nylen, a painter and owner of a Westport gallery.
