Police are investigating a burglary reported Thursday night at an Old Stratfield Road home.
The homeowner said she was gone from 7:30 to 10:15 p.m. Thursday, and when she returned home, found the rear kitchen door open and rooms throughout the house ransacked.
A jewelry box was also emptied of its contents.
