Jewelry worth hundreds reported stolen on Half Mile Lane

Approximately $800 in jewelry was reported missing Thursday from a Half Mile Lane home.
The homeowner said she had left the house for several hours to run errands, but when she returned home found a screen window had been pried open.
Reported taken were a diamond necklace, worth $300, garnet-and-diamond earrings, also valued at $300, $100 gold hoop earrings and $400 in costume jewelry.
