A female jogger, who in July said a man had exposed himself to her while she was running Near Veres Street, reported to police the same man did it again Wednesday.
The woman said she was near the Pine Creek marsh and Kiwanis Field on Old Dam Road around 5 p.m. when she saw a naked man on the trails closest to the ballpark.
She said he was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap and possibly a white tee-shirt, but no pants or underwear. She was running on the trails near the bridge, she said, and when he saw her, he ran into the marsh.
The flasher, she said, was the same man who had who exposed himself on the jogging trail near Veres Street on July 9, just before 4 p.m. That time, according to police, the suspect approached the woman, his hands in his front pockets. She told police that she ran faster to get away from him, and when she looked over her shoulder, he was squatting down, with his shorts and underwear pulled down below his knees. She yelled at him, ran home and called police, according to the report.
The suspect is described as white, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with short, light-colored hair and a full beard.
Police Sgt. Suzanne Lussier said both incidents are being investigated, but added police do not think the woman is being targeted by the man. She said based on some of the interviews they've conducted, there is a "high probability" the suspect will be identified.
