'Just Tell Me What You Want' screened at StageOne

Fairfield Theatre Co. will hold a screening of the 1980 romantic comedy "Just Tell Me What You Want" at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at StageOne, 70 Sanford St. Doors open 7 p.m.

In this movie directed by Sidney Lumet, a character played by Alan King is a vulgar and powerful businessman who keeps a bevy of beauties for pleasure to escape his alcoholic wife played by Dina Merrill. The other woman is Ali MacGraw, playing a television producer tiring of Max's broken promises.

The film has been chosen by Connecticut Post writer Joe Meyers as part of the theater's "Martini and a Movie" series honoring movies set in New York City over the next 10 months. Meyers will lead a discussion of the film after it ends.
