The Kennedy Center will have its 47th annual Four Seasons Ball 7 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Patterson Club, 1118 Cross Highway.

The gala will include a social hour with hors d'oeuvres from 7 to 8 p.m. and a full-course dinner and dancing to the band Cracked Ice from 8 to midnight. Black-tie is optional and elegant attire is requested.

People's United Bank and Armando F. Goncalves, of Fairfield, president of the bank, will be recognized as this year's Tribute Journal honorees. The bank and Goncalves are being honored for their support of the community, including the Kennedy Center's Unique Perspective Calendar. For more than 25 years, the bank has been a major sponsor of this calendar, which features vibrant artwork created by center artists with disabilities.

Tickets are $200 and proceeds from the ball will benefit the center's residential services for people with disabilities.
