Two laptop computers were reported stolen Thursday night from cars parking in restaurant parking lots on Black Rock Turnpike.

A Dell laptop valued at $2,000 was stolen Thursday from a car parked in the lot of Bear & Grill restaurant, 2000 Black Rock Turnpike. The theft occurred sometime between 7 and 8 p.m., according to police. Also stolen was a bag of clothes, police said.

At nearby parking lot of McKenzie's restaurant, 2320 Black Rock Turnpike, a black leather briefcase with a $1,500 HP laptop was stolen from the front passenger seat of a Lexus sometime between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

The car's front passenger window was smashed to gain entry. The window was valued at $300.
