Letter: Dean has the work ethic and instincts

I'm writing today to ask Fairfield and Trumbull voters to support Heather Dean for House District 134. I've known and worked with Heather for a decade, most particularly during our overlapping terms on the RTM.

Heather is diligent when it comes to understanding the issues that face residents and taxpayers. And she's not afraid to ask the sometimes awkward questions when information on an issue isn't clear.

As chair of the Public Works committee, Heather conducted meetings with efficiency, a touch of humor and a bipartisan instinct that earned the respect of members on both sides of the aisle.

Heather Dean rolls up her sleeves and stays until the job is done -- long after the photographers have left.
