To the Editor:

The Gaelic American Club made history once again by electing James Carolan as President for 2017. The Club was established 1948 and James’s grandfather became the second president, then his Uncle John and this past Friday night his Father Dr. Patrick Carolan stepped aside to watch his son take the helm.

That three generations of Carolan’s. I think that is history. James was sworn in by his Uncle John and his father-in-law Patrick Daly.

James lives in Fairfield with his wife Jennifer and three children. He no doubt will preserve the culture of our great organization. Eight other members were sworn in to office to help oversee the operation of the Gaelic American Club.
