Isn't it ironic that our town does not permit smoking anywhere on school grounds or on our wide-open beaches for fear of possible carcinogens, yet it's OK to keep children in enclosed classrooms where, according to the EPA, there are documented high levels of carcinogens?

We're picking the low-hanging fruit.
