To the Editor:

My name is Lori Langdon and I, along with my husband, Ryan, and six children, enthusiastically support Sen. Tony Hwang.

We admire Tony’s steadfast commitment to our community and state. When not in Hartford, Tony is attending community events and meetings. In particular, his support for the Pequot Library and its many initiatives is of great importance to our family.

Tony has also showed tremendous commitment to education. He has been involved with National History Day as a judge and is always present at the awards ceremony to offer congratulations to the students. He has helped our children with their projects by bringing them to the state capital and attending a meeting with them and the Connecticut Attorney General, George Jepsen. He has also met with them to discuss campaign finance reform.

We need people like Tony in Hartford. The state is in such financial shambles, and Tony is not afraid to take a stand and fight for our rights as taxpayers.

Please join me in voting for Sen. Tony Hwang on Nov. 8.
