Fairfield Public Library will host a talk by soccer superstar and former Olympian Kristine Lilly at the "Library Olympics Closing Ceremonies" from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, at the main library, 1080 Old Post Road.

Lilly will talk about her experiences as a U.S. Olympic athlete and present medals to "Victorious Visitors" for making visits to the library. Inducted this summer into the U.S. Olympics Hall of Fame, Lilly played in three Olympic games.

The cards, stamped for each visit, must be turned in by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 9, to guarantee a medal at the ceremony. Cards may be obtained at the Children's Services desk.

All programs at the library are free. For information, go to www.fairfieldpubliclibrary.org or call 203-256-3160.
